Rao served as the first head of artificial intelligence at Target for six years, helping rebuild its supply chain and apply AI to its e-commerce business. Earlier in his career, Rao worked on Wall Street, as a derivatives trading quant analyst with Goldman Sachs and later as managing director of market modeling for Morgan Stanley.
